Why did you choose to attend the University of Minnesota?

I love the city of Minneapolis and the school is awesome as well. Being a big 10 school with amazing facilities and a good soccer program.

What was your recruitment like coming out of high school?

It was crazy but definitely something to remember. Being able to have coaches fly you out to show them their school and program was a great experience. Going to states I’ve never been to before to experience a little bit of the student-athlete life was so much fun!

What has been your favorite moment since you started your college career?

Probably meeting other student-athletes and becoming close friends with them and experiences their team culture and personal lives! I enjoy having my car at school and explore the city of Minneapolis and all the fun things that come with that.

What does the Walk-On Mentality mean to you?

It means no matter your situation you want to make the most out of every experience and continue to push yourself to be a better person and athlete.

What has been the biggest challenge of being an underdog?

Having to motivate and push yourself when you feel like you’ve given everything.

What are you hoping to accomplish this season?

I hope to grow as a player on the field and contribute to my teams success on and off the field.

What teammate has helped you the most since arriving on campus, and why?

I would say Sarah Martin and Katie Krohn because they helped me grow in my faith and be confident in my faith to show others how god has affected my life for the positive way. They’ve been such great friends and teammates!

What advice would you give someone who has been told they are not good enough or that they could not achieve their goals?

Just know that one opinion does not dictate you or your future
