Why did you choose to attend the University of Michigan?
Because of the combination of great athletics and academics, along with the resources available.
What was your recruitment like coming out of high school?
I got a decent amount of interest from Division 1 programs, some other Big 10 schools, but it wasn't like super crazy
What has been the biggest challenge of being an underdog?
Showing up every day knowing that you have to work to gain your respect and that nothing is handed to you
What has been your favorite moment since you started your college career?
My favorite moment has to be beating Washington on the road at their home place.
What does the Walk-On Mentality mean to you?
It means being Gritty even when the cards are against you.
What are you hoping to accomplish this season?
Win a Big 10 Championship
What teammate has helped you the most since arriving on campus, and why?
Nick Nobles. He was my freshman year roommate and had already been on campus for a semester, so he showed me around and introduced me to new people, helping me get adjusted when I first got here.
What advice would you give someone who has been told they are not good enough or that they could not achieve their goals?
Put your head down and use that as fuel to work harder and be consistent in your work.
