Why did you choose to attend this university?
The best of both worlds, the opportunity to compete in the Big Ten in one of the most prestigious universities in the nation.
What was your recruitment like coming out of high school?
Very opportunistic. I held various offers from Ivy League schools, Pioneer League, and some PWO offers from Big Ten schools.
What has been the biggest challenge of being an underdog?
Comparison is the thief of joy
What does the Walk-On Mentality mean to you?
Reflection of gratitude and goal-oriented purpose.
What has been your favorite moment since you started your college career?
The time I spent with my teammates on and off the field.
What are you hoping to accomplish this season?
Develop the younger guys, develop championship level habits, and establish myself in the rotation.
What teammate has helped you the most since arriving on campus, and why?
Michael Kilbane. We have been close friends since freshman year, is very selfless and leads by example.

What advice would you give someone who has been told they are not good enough or that they could not achieve their goals?
Separate yourself from worrying about things you can’t control. For what you can control, develop a goal you want to achieve on a daily basis to have intent with your actions. Reflect on your wins and losses, why were they wins and why were they losses. Then determine the next steps for you to grow and stack day after day after day.
